Count Spike urban animation

From the series of “collections started and (probably) never finished” I present to you the first “urban” animation made in collaboration with Alternative Bucharest at Bucharest Street Art Festival

Basically, the animation includes a few dozen fairly large stickers printed and cut by hand with colleagues from Visual-Light Crew, which I sent to the team from Bucharest Street Art Festival, who did their magic by sticking them and posing them in the most interesting areas of Bucharest. Later, after receiving all these awesome pictures, I moved on to the post-production of the video.

Thus… I get to present to you the entire journey through the capital of the grumpiest prickly. I don’t know anything about him anymore, but I suspect that he found a shady and dark place and settled there.

Medium :Streets of Bucharest (RO)
Technique :The animation was made of 36 frames. Each frame represents a sticker printed and cut by hand.
Year :2024

Cast of Characters

Count Spike is probably the oldest and most terrifying character in Cactus World… He is hundreds of years old and was once the most feared cactus… Parents used to threaten their children using his name. Today, he is no longer at the heights he once was. He is hunched over, from the pain of his teeth, his real teeth have long since fallen out, now he has a prosthesis that he puts in a glass of water every morning when he goes to bed. However, ambitious by nature, he still tries to inspire fear, but unfortunately only children are vaguely afraid of him.
